Serve your hummus with a plate filled with a variety of raw veggies and toppings.  Guests love to build their own salad or sandwich!

Hummus, serves 2


1 garlic clove

1/2 lemon, juiced

2 tbsp tahini

1 can garbanzo beans, with 1/2 can of the liquid

1 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp paprika

Himalayan salt and pepper to taste


1.  Place garlic, lemon juice and tahini in a blender and blend over medium-high for 30 seconds or until creamy.  

2.  Add the can of garbanzo beans with 1/2 of the liquid.  Add cumin.  Blend for approximately 60 seconds or until desired consistency.  

3.  Scoop hummus in to a bowl and sprinkle with paprika.  Dip with some crudite or whole grain chips or crackers.
